Formally Challoners, Flaming Good Fires have been working in the fireplace industry since 1956. We are a family business spanning three generations, with over 50 years of trading. Few companies can draw on the wealth of knowledge and experience that we have. Michael Fairbairn has spent the last 20 years designing and manufacturing fireplaces for one of the leading electric fire companies. With over 12 national fireplace awards and even winning the prestigious North American fireplace award in Atlanta, Georgia, he is the only designer to achieve this in the industry.
With Michael now concentrating his time on the retail showroom, we now offer a bespoke design service with CAD drawing and home visits which gives our customers a 5 star design service. Flaming Good Fires has been designing fireplaces for many VIPs and celebrities. His projects include several commercial bodies from the leisure industry like restaurants, bars, nightclubs, social clubs, and high-end residential apartments as well. Our home consultations allow ideas to freely flow with a one to one service.
